Product Description
Illuminating and heartfelt, Tug of Love by Giselle Lumas is a gritty and poignant tale of a hardworking mother of two who is pretty sure her husband is cheating on her. Fed up with the emotional and physical rejection of her not-so-better half, she is neither surprised nor terribly alarmed when her spouse jumps ship into the arms of another woman. Making the best of a bad situation, she finds solace in a new love interest only to have her ex decide he wants a second chance. Caught between cause and commitment, one woman must rally the troops and pull at her own heartstrings to figure out what's best for her and her family.

All Is Fair In Love & War

Rick and Deirdre's marriage is floundering and has been for a long time, when Garret comes along and slowly sweeps Deirdre off her feet. When she's in Garret's arms, she's able to take a cold, hard look at her marriage and see it for what it really is. But when she's with her husband, she gets caught up in the past and how good things used to be between them. Deciding which man is the one for her should be relatively easy, but it isn't. Eventually, she settles on Garret, who accepts and loves her two children from the marriage, and treats her with the respect she deserves. The tug of love is finally over.
Giselle Lumas's TUG OF LOVE is a quick, light-hearted read that doesn't quite pack the punch I expected. The characters come across as likeable people, but I would liked to have been invited into their thoughts and feelings a little more. However, Lumas touches on realistic and thought-provoking relationship issues, making TUG OF LOVE a timely contribution.

You'll find yourself rooting for the heroine, and her crazy friend is a real hoot! This book is not too deep, but deep enough to keep you interested!
